Are my goods secure?
Ayrshire Storage takes pride in ensuring that your goods are safe and secure whilst they are stored with us. All of our sites are fenced and gated, have security lighting and 24-hour CCTV cameras. Our purpose-built storage centre at Ailsa Road also benefits from electric gates with a fob entry and exit system that logs everyone as they come in and out of the facility.
How much does it cost?
The price you pay is determined by the size of unit you need. All of our prices and the dimensions of our units can be found under the Prices Tab on our website. We invoice on a four weekly basis and your first invoice can be paid by card payment. Any future invoices can be paid by our preferred method of direct debit.
Do you offer discounts?
If you plan on renting a unit for an extended period of time then we offer a 5% discount when you pay for the first 6 months upfront and a 10% discount when you pay for a year upfront.
Are my goods insured?
Our prices include insurance cover for fire, flood and theft up to a value of £2,000 per unit with a limit of £1,000 per any one item. Additional insurance cover for household goods only can be arranged at an extra cost by contacting our office.
When can I visit my storage unit?
Our internal units can be visited from Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 5pm by appointment. However, we do offer 10ft and 20ft Shipping Containers that can be visited 24/7 at our Ailsa Road site and from 8am to 8pm every day at our Ballot Road site.
What documents do I need to provide to set up an agreement?
You need to bring with you:
- A valid photo ID such as a passport or driving licence (we will take a copy of this for your file).
- Your bank details to set up the direct debit.
- Your first payment will need to be paid by card.
